Dot Studio is a fictional pottery studio built around the simplicity and elegance of minimalism. The project explores how a physical ceramic brand can evolve into a cohesive digital experience, bringing together product design, 3D exploration, branding, and web design to create a consistent visual and user experience across physical and digital touchpoints. The Dot Studio identity is rooted in simplicity, balance, and restraint. The circular mark reflects the studio’s focus on harmony and the organic forms found in its ceramic work.

Exploring Forms Through Prototyping
I explored variations of the torus by changing its proportions, sections, and orientation to understand how small shifts could create different silhouettes. Physical prototypes helped me evaluate these forms beyond the screen, testing their scale, balance, and functionality.
By moving between digital exploration and hands-on making, I refined the forms into a cohesive set of objects while keeping the original geometric language intact.
Arc Vase — Sectioned Form
By slicing and repositioning the torus, the Arc Vase explores how partial forms can create new silhouettes. The result balances geometric structure with an organic, sculptural quality.
Twist Vase — Linear Form
The Twist Vase combines a vertical stem with a curved torus section, creating contrast between linear and rounded forms. This approach introduces movement while keeping the overall language minimal.
Orb Vase — Circular Form
By moving between digital exploration and hands-on making, I refined the forms into a cohesive set of objects while keeping the original geometric language intact.
