Brief
Develop a refined and efficient desk planter integrating self-watering technology, tailored for individuals with frequent travel commitments.
The planter should be easy to maintain and capable of sustaining plant life for extended periods without constant attention.
There is a clear preference for succulents as indoor plants over flowering or foliage varieties. Their ability to store water in their leaves, stems, or roots makes them naturally low-maintenance and well suited to environments where regular watering may not be possible.
The top form is designed as a spherical plant holder that fits securely into the base, creating a ball-and-socket connection. This allows the planter to rotate 360°, giving users the flexibility to adjust its orientation and position the plant towards the sunlight for healthier and faster growth.
